Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is coming soon. Star Wars has been firing on all cylinders lately. We live in a time where we are getting more Star Wars content than ever. From books to comics to tv shows. Especially, a lot of tv shows. Disney has been developing a great number of Star Wars shows. And of the most interesting shows is the one MCU Spider-Man Director Jon Watts has been working on.

Jon Watts has been working on his Star Wars show for a while. However, details have been pretty hard to come by. We have known for a while that it would be a series focused on kids. Specifically, “a galactic version of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s”. Also, the series is set after Return of the Jedi.  The only other known detail was that the series was being developed under the working title “Grammar Rodeo.” However, today that all changed.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Starring Jude Law Announced

The official Star Wars Twitter account confirmed that Grammar Rodeo is actually titled Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Additionally, Jude Law will be starring in the series in an unknown role. Finally, the series will premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2023. You can see the full tweet below:

This all sounds really great. Firstly, Law is an incredible actor so he will definitely be fun to watch in this series. Secondly, the creative team behind the show all has really solid output, so it is safe to say this show will also be good. Thirdly, the fact it premieres in 2023 means we will learn even more about it soon. Such as more casting details and a better synopsis. Finally, it seems like we are going to get fairly regular Star Wars content starting this year on Disney+.
