Daredevil is back! Disney+ is really letting the MCU expand. The shows have given fans plenty of great new characters while also giving old characters some much-needed attention. But, before Disney+, there were the Netflix Marvel shows. From The Punisher to Iron Fist, they were extremely popular. However, the most popular of the series was Daredevil.

Daredevil follows blind lawyer-turned superhero Matt Murdock as he protects Hell’s Kitchen from crime. The series was a big hit on Netflix, but was unfortunately cancelled. However, Murdock appeared briefly in Spider-Man: No Way Home as a cameo. Additionally, his nemesis, Kingpin, showed up in Hawkeye. Both characters were played by the same actors who appeared in the Netflix series. This sparked hope that Marvel Studios would revive the show on Disney+.

Daredevil Series In Development At Disney+

Charlie Cox as Daredevil

Variety has reported that a new Daredevil series is in the works at Disney+. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are writing and executive producing the series, and Charlie Cox is expected to return as Matt Murdock. Marvel Studios has not yet commented on the news. Corman and Ord previously worked together on Covert Affairs.

This is incredible news! Fans have been begging for more Daredevil ever since the show was cancelled by Netflix in 2018. It is going to be great to see Charlie Cox as Daredevil on our screens again. And, hopefully, Vincent D’Onofrio returns along with the rest of the cast from the series. The supporting cast was also quite good. Additionally, this could open the door for other characters like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Could they have their shows revived on Disney+?
