Bryce Dallas Howard is really blowing up. She has had a few smaller roles, like Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3, but the past few years have really launched her to stardom; specifically, her role as Claire Dearing in the Jurassic World franchise has helped with her rise. However, Star Wars has really helped her career more than anything.

While Howard is no doubt a great actor, she has really made waves in directing Star Wars, having directed three episodes of Star Wars TV. First, she directed an episode of The Mandalorian in season 1, then she returned for a season 2 episode. Most recently, she directed an episode of The Book of Boba Fett. All of these episodes have been critically-acclaimed, leading fans to call for her to direct a Star Wars movie. And ,it looks like Howard wants to direct one too.

Hopefully, we can see Howard direct a feature-length Star Wars movie. The episodes of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett she directed are some of the best Star Wars content in recent memory. Specifically, her episode of Boba Fett is really great and easily the best episode of that series. Unquestionably, Howard has a great grasp of Star Wars and would make a great film. And, with each episode, her directing skills improved, so a movie has the potential to be amazing. Currently, the only big project Howard has scheduled is directing a reboot of Flight of the Navigator, so she definitely has the time to direct a Star Wars movie if LucasFilm wanted her.
