Loki Season 2 is fast approaching. The MCU has really expanded thanks to Disney+. The MCU Disney+ shows have given a lot of depth to some of the movie side characters like Wanda, Falcon, and Hawkeye. Or in the case of Loki, the show has re-invented the characters and completely changed the MCU as we know it. Without a doubt, Loki was of the best MCU shows and the next season looks like it will continue that trend.

Loki season 2 is one of the most anticipated projects in the MCU. We do not know much about the actual plot for season 2, but we know plenty of behind-the-scenes details. Firstly, Kate Herron is out as director. She left on her own terms. Instead, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will direct this season. Previously, Benson and Moorhead directed episodes 2 and 4 of Moon Knight. Secondly, Michael Waldron will not be writing this season. Eric Martin will be head writer on season 2. Martin worked on several episodes of the first season. The only thing we did not know is when the second season started filming. And thanks to a new listing we know now.

Loki Season 2 Starts Filming On June 6

A new listing on ProductionList revealed that season 2 of Loki starts filming on June 6th. It also revealed that it will be filming in the UK. The previous season filmed in Georgia. The series is expected to be released in 2023, though there is no confirmed timeline.

This is exciting news. Fans have been waiting a long time for an update on Loki. Certainly, Loki has always been a popular character but the show really skyrocketed his popularity. The show also introduced new fan-favorite characters like Mobius and Sylvie. Fans are no doubt excited to know the show will start filming soon. Hopefully, we can get some details about the new season once it starts filming.
