Moon Knight and Rama Tut fans, there might be some fun along the way.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has begun its expansion into the streaming zone, thanks to Disney+ allowing the MCU to delve into characters and storylines that wouldn’t work well as part of feature films. Therefore, Marvel has been delivering hits with WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, etc. as we get more screen time via the episodic format.
Moon Knight was been one of the most anticipated series in the MCU Phase 4. Due to the lack of info surrounding the character, it’s been shrouded in mystery and the uniqueness of the character. The “Fist of Khonshu” has been ruling Disney+ for the past few weeks, delivering stunning new chapters for the MCU. The first two episodes contained few callbacks to the MCU and seemed to prefer operating alone.
Moon Knight Easter Egg Features Rama Tut
Youtubers New Rockstars discovered a new easter egg in Moon Knight‘s latest episode that hints at a variant of Kang. The variant is called Rama Tut. We previously saw another variant of Kang/He Who Remains in the season finale of Loki. That particular variant was the creator of the Time Variance Authority. In the comics, Rama Tut was Kang, posing as an Egyptian pharaoh by using time travel to usurp power.

This is exciting news. A connection with Kang makes Moon Knight even more mysterious and helps further build the interconnected web of the MCU. Kang is expected to be the overarching antagonist of the upcoming phase of the MCU. Thus, a tie with him, justified by the visible Egyptian connection, establishes Moon Knight’s place within the ever expanding universe. As such, we cannot wait to see the remaining episodes in order to further understand the story that lies ahead.
