Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be HUGE. The MCU has become known for its big crowd-pleasing surprises in its event films. Such as the shocking ending of Infinity War to the beheading of Thanos in Endgame, surprises have become a staple of the franchise. The trend of big surprises seems to be continuing with the Doctor Strange sequel.

Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness is one of the biggest films of the year. The film follows Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange dealing with the fallout of his actions in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He is joined by Scarlet Witch and Wong played by Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong respectively. Ever since its announcement speculation around the film has been crazy. Speculation and excitement went into overdrive following the second trailer, which teased the return of Sir Patrick Stewart. And now it looks like fans have even more reason to be excited about the movie.

In a new video, insider John Campea has teased big surprises for the film courtesy of one of his sources:

In the email, they went on to say this, they said, ‘There’s more security [for this movie] blah blah blah.’ But the key line was this: ‘There are more big surprises in Doctor Strange 2 than in Infinity War, Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home combined.’

Campea per his source also reported that the movie will not be screened at the upcoming Cinemacon:

Yesterday, I got an email. What I was basically told was this. I cannot say who this is from. But it [said], ‘Yeah, they’re not going to be screening Doctor Strange 2 during CinemaCon.’ Sorry to tell everybody that, it’s guaranteed that they are not going to show Doctor Strange 2 during CinemaCon.

Obviously, the news of surprises bigger than Endgame or No Way Home is very exciting. This movie has already been the center of so much speculation and rumor so this is only adding more fuel to the fire. However, it’s always important for fans to keep their expectations in check. Speculation is always fun, but it’s important to keep in mind what we actually know about the film and not go totally off the rails with theories.
