Fourteen years ago, we were introduced to one of the most iconic television shows of all time in Breaking Bad, which formed the spinoff we’re talking about, Better Call Saul. Over its 5 seasons, the show garnered adoration from a massive fan base, awards shows, critics and more. The story of a science teacher turned meth cook Walter White and his loyal student Jesse Pinkman. It was a turning point in television. It introduced us to many memorable characters, especially the duo’s slick, fast talking lawyer – Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk).

Odenkirk’s character would resume the role in a spinoff, Better Call Saul, which is every bit as compelling as its predecessor. The show served as a prequel that follows Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill as he journeys to becoming Saul Goodman made famous.

Better Call Saul Final Season To Bring Back Familiar Faces

Throughout its 5 seasons, we have been rewarded with many Breaking Bad easter eggs and fan favorite returns. We now know that Cranston and Paul will be returning as Walt and Jesse in the 6th and final season of Better Call Saul. The news comes from the co-creator Peter Gould this weekend during a panel for the show at PaleyFest LA. Although he did not offer specifics, he had this to say about their return:

I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah. How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season.

Fans of the show including myself have been wondering if we’ll get to see Walt and Jesse in some fashion. This news is exhilarating to hear and leaves us speculating as to how we’ll actually see the two return. Personally, it may be far fetched but the return of a certain RV would be quite exciting as well.
