Stories From Sources: August 1 – August 7

Hey guys so a week ago our friends at One Take News decided to do a thing called “Tales From The Drafts”. It was a hit and a great idea, and so we decided to do our own version of that (thanks to @bigscreenleaks, he deserves all the credit for this idea) called “Stories From Sources”. So basically SFS is anything that wasn’t big enough for an article, or wasn’t able to be fully confirmed. Take all this with caution, as it may not pan out. But yes, we do have some Spider-Man: No Way Home news for you.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage

I’ve heard rumblings from my sources that Sony is actively considering pushing Venom: Let There Be Carnage to October. Spain and Australia have already moved Venom’s date to October 8 and October 13. I cannot guarantee a delay, nor can I guarantee that Venom keeps it’s current date. But we should be hearing from Sony very soon if it will be delayed.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Michael Peña is in final negotiations with Disney to reprise his role as Luis in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This was told to me by several sources close with the matter. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw an article from Deadline, Variety, or THR in the next few weeks.

Hawkeye

I’ve heard that the Hawkeye teaser trailer will release at the Emmys, but this has only come from one person, and the person that told me this has been wrong a lot before. So it might happen, but take this with a grain of salt, and don’t be surprised if they’re wrong. This is by far the most iffy of all the things listed in this issue.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

I want to state this very, very, very clearly. What I am saying from my sources might happen. It MIGHT. I have ZERO ability to affect what Sony does. I’ve heard that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will drop behind closed doors at Sony’s CinemaCon presentation, then will release to the general public either the morning of the 24th or in September, I can’t confirm which yet. Take this with a HUGE grain of salt, especially since it’s No Way Home-related.

This is it for this week’s issue of Stories From Sources!
