Cinema Reviewed has learned that Emily VanCamp and Adepero Oduye are back in the Marvel Studios game, slated to reprise their roles as Sharon Carter, and Sarah Wilson, in ‘Captain America 4‘.
VanCamp previously appeared in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘, ‘Captain America: Civil War‘, and ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘. Oduye first appeared as Sarah Wilson in ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, alongside VanCamp. This will be VanCamp’s fourth outing as Carter, and Oduye’s second as Wilson.
Malcolm Spellman, head writer on ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘, is penning the script with Dalan Musson, who wrote the fifth episode of the series, titled ‘Truth‘.
Anthony Mackie will also reprise his role as Sam Wilson, formerly The Falcon, now Captain America. This is Mackie’s eighth time appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, previously in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘, ‘Ant-Man‘, ‘Captain America: Civil War‘, ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘, ‘Avengers: Endgame‘, and ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘.
No director has been attached to the project, and its existence was only confirmed recently.
The script is early in development, but sources have obtained rough outlines, who have passed the information on to Cinema Reviewed. Spellman was a writer/producer on ‘Empire‘ before coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Musson’s previous writing credit was for ‘Iron Sky: The Coming Race‘.
